Today I stop
I breath deep
and rest

with greatful
tears I weep

because I have
come so far

For so long, it was like a gypsy chamelion. Draped in the exotic colors and dialects of others. Until one day it introduced itself as my voice... and grew roots and decided to stay.

We blindly travel
various paths
and numerous journeys
searching for a singular destination
...and yet
our illuminated souls
have always contained
the light
that will lead us home

At night they would fall asleep
holding hands
...and only God knew
that they were quietly praying
for the same things

Its in the in -between that the real magic happens
the seeds are planted, the roots take hold
and we blossom into who
we were meant to be

Her teeth tingled with delight
the night she boldly bit off a piece of the moon
